What We Need
A 72-year-old widow in Hendersonville needs $480 to cover two months of electric.
Our Story
A longtime member of our senior ministry is behind on her TVA electric bill after a summer of running the AC through a heat wave. She lives alone on Social Security and has a shutoff notice dated next Friday. Funds go directly to her utility account through our benevolence fund. Our deacons are also connecting her with TVA's low-income weatherization program to prevent a recurrence.
